Infants
( 6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies uniquely discover the world. At Caterpillar International Academy, our infant play area is designed to give our little ones the safe, nurturing environment they need to stretch their body and brain for future learning. Our rooms are meticulously clean and soft enough for the delicate little hands and feet. A team of professionals continuously supervises each classroom.

Toddlers
(Age 2)

Our toddler program builds on our infant program to provide a safe, fun environment for children ages 2. Our activities and educational materials are designed so that every child can explore and expand their physical, social, cognitive, and language abilities based on their stages of development. We help every child build strong self-esteem, problem-solving skills, and friendship in our anti-bullying curriculum. Please take a look at what we have to offer you and your child.

It is essential to nurture each child's potential and help them develop as an individual by establishing a fun daily routine. During our preschool program, we will build upon the children’s strengths and the skills that they have mastered.

Preschool

Pre-Kindergarten
(Age 4)
Walking into one of our Pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. At Caterpillar International Academy, they learn skills such as taking turns cooperatively, sharing, and following directions — all essential components for future social, behavioral, and academic success.

Writing The ABC's

In pre-K, your child will practice how to write their name. You’ll start to see it all over their artwork! We will also use letters and drawings to describe people, places, experiences, and feelings.

Friends and Feelings

Social skills are a big focus in Pre-K as your child prepares for Kindergarten. Your child will work on talking through big feelings and resolving conflicts with words. They’ll also talk about themselves and their families and learn about each other’s similarities and differences.

Group time happens every day in each of our classrooms. For pre-kindergartens, teachers use this time to talk about the day or read a book before they move on to child-directed math, literacy, or small-group activities!
Every day, pre-kindergartners sit down to eat a meal with healthy fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. We never serve juice or fried foods!
Most of our classes spend 45 minutes outside twice a day, weather permitting. In addition to unstructured playtime, prekindergartners will do things like draw maps together, stretch, or play games!
